High Commissioner of India hosts team India in Guyana in a star-studded affair
The Indian cricket team player was welcomed by the high commissioner of India in Guyana Dr. K J Srinivasa ahead of the 2nd IND vs WI T20I match.

After facing a loss against the 'Men in Maroon' in the first T20I by four runs, Hardik Pandya will be up against the West Indies in the second match of the five-match series on August 6, 2023. The match will be played at the Providence Stadium in Guyana wherein the 'Men in Blue' will aim to make a comeback in the series.

High Commissioner of India in Guyana K J Srinivasa hosted the Indian cricket team in Guyana ahead of the IND vs WI 2nd T20I match. The BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) tweeted about the same on their official Twitter handle. Indian cricketers such as Hardik Pandya, Shubnman Gill and others attended the party before the second match of the series.

Team India aims comeback in the second T20I match against West Indies
Team India succumbed to a heavy defeat in the first T20I. The Hardik Pandya-led young Indian team failed to chase a small total of 150 runs and made a complete mockery of a rather easy run chase. The Indian outfit will want to avoid the same mistakes they did in the first T20I and will look to bounce back and level the playing field.
Hardik Pandya will also have an added responsibility on him as the skipper will have to deliver with both ball and bat. The right-handed batter, who is known for hitting big sixes and finishing the innings by coming at number five. The Gujarat Titans skipper has not been in good touch with the bat. The Indian team must finalise their core eleven before the 2024 T20 World Cup.
