Qualification scenarios for FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup 2023
16 participating teams at Hockey World Cup 2023 have been divided into four groups of four teams each. India men’s hockey team is accompanied by England, Spain, and Wales in Pool D for group stages of tournament. Each team is scheduled to play three matches in group stage.

At end of group stage, top-placed teams from each group will earn direct qualification for Hockey World Cup quarterfinals.
