Virat Kohli , the veteran Indian batter, has expressed his admiration for the Australian cricket team's competitive mindset and skillset. In a video shared by Star Sports Network, Kohli acknowledged that the Australian team's unity and awareness on the field motivates him to elevate his game.

Virat Kohli lauds the Australian team's competitive nature

Virat Kohli recognized that the Australian team's competitive nature is evident in the way all eleven players are on the same page, knowing exactly what to do and when. This, he said, increases his motivation to perform at a higher level in order to defeat them.

“I think I can understand that mindset properly that they are so competitive that all the 11 players on the same page and they know what to do and when. Seeing this, my motivation increases as they are so aware and their skill set is so high that I have to elevate my game in order to defeat them,” Kohli said.

The Border-Gavaskar Trophy, a highly anticipated Test series between India and Australia, is set to begin on November 22 in Perth. Kohli's comments suggest that he is ready to face the challenge and is prepared to raise his game to counter the Australian team.
