ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Dilemma Over? ICC to Announce Schedule By THIS Date

Amid growing speculation over mega event, a report suggests that ICC is set to announce schedule of upcoming Champions Trophy by end of this week. report claims that ICC will consult with Pakistan Cricket Board before releasing schedule. It is going to be interesting how things pan out as India has alrey refused to travel to Pakistan and PCB has written to apex cricketing body asking m to give clarity on why India has chosen not to come. PCB are still confident that entire tournament would be played in Pakistan.

'Don't think re is any reason for India not to come'

"If India has any concerns about sending ir team to Pakistan y must talk to us and we will remove m. I don't think re is any reason for India not to come to Pakistan for Champions Trophy,"     PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi told reporters.

Naqvi, who is also federal interior minister, confirmed PCB h sent a letter to ICC on BCCI's decision to not send its team to Pakistan.

"We are directly interacting with ICC and we are still waiting for a response from m so we can take things forward," he said.

"I am here to talk about construction work progress and we are waiting for ICC to respond to us as y also have to announce schedule." Talking about renovation work for Champions Trophy, he said construction is progressing on schedule.

"We are ahe of our deline to complete construction and finishing at all three stiums in Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi."
