ICC Champions Trophy 2025: PCB Waiting For ICC Response, Still Hopeful Over India's Participation

Despite ICC's snub, Pakistan Cricket Board is still hopeful over India's participation at ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Pakistan Cricket Board has asked a few questions to apex cricketing body over India's participation in mega event. Now, PCB is eagerly waiting for ICC's response on this.

‘Still waiting for ir response’

"We have sent m [ICC] questions we h," Naqvi said at a press interaction at Lahore's Gdafi Stium. "We are still waiting for ir response. I believe that sports and politics are separate and no country should mix two. Even now I still have positive expectations about Champions Trophy."

"At this moment, every team that has qualified for Champions Trophy is rey to come," he said. "Nobody has any issues. I will say today also, if India has any concerns, speak to us about m, we can ease those concerns. I don't think re is any reason for m not to visit."

‘ICC will have to think about its credibility’

"My feeling is that ICC will have to think about its credibility, that are y an organisation for all world's bodies," Naqvi said. “And that route has been rescheduled, we haven't been told about any cancellation.”

As per reports, India has me it's stand clear on this issue. India has said that y will not be travelling to Pakistan for Champions Trophy.
