ICC goofs up Bangladesh's score, fans correct the governing body of world cricket

The International Cricket Council (ICC)  comes up with a lot of techniques to entertain their fans. Be it with their caption this method or taking a banter at any particular player or a team. However, even they have been at the receiving end for goofing up on social media and one such incident happened during the end of the first day's play in the first Test between India and Bangladesh on Thursday.

ICC goofs up Bangladesh's score

It so happened that after the stumps on Day 1, ICC took to social media and wrote that it was a fantastic day for the hosts who had bowled out Bangladesh for 140 and were at 86/1 in their first innings. Whereas, Bangladesh were bundled out for 150 in their first innings. 

As soon as the error was spotted by the fans, they came forward to correct the governing body of world cricket in a hilarious manner. Here are some of the reactions.

India skittle Bangladesh for 150

Bangladesh skipper Mominul Haque won the toss and decided to bat first. However, the visitors failed to put up a resistance and their innings never really took off as the Indian bowlers picked up wickets at regular intervals. Mushfiqur Rahim (43) and Mominul Haque (37) were the only Bangladeshi batsmen who managed to hang around for a while but could not convert their starts into big scores as they were bundled out for a paltry score of 150 in the 59th over. For India, Mohammed Shami was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3/27 at an economy rate of 2.08 including five maidens whereas, Ishant Sharma, Umesh Yadav, and Ravichandran Ashwin picked up two wickets each. India in their first innings lost the important wicket of Rohit Sharma for six. Nonetheless, Mayank Agarwal and Cheteshwar Pujara have so far added 72 runs for the second wicket stand. Agarwal remained unbeaten on 37 while Pujara was not out on 43.
