'ICC Hall of Fame should feel proud to have Sachin Tendulkar among the list..' : Wasim Jaffer
Former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer congratulated Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar for being inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame and said that it should have happened when Sachin was still playing the game. Jaffer said that ICC Hall of Fame should feel proud to have Tendulkar among the rest of the players in the list to have played the game.

Former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer congratulated Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar for being inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame and said that it should have happened when Sachin was still playing the game. Jaffer said that ICC Hall of Fame should feel proud to have Tendulkar among the rest of the players in the list to have played the game.

Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar has been inducted into the International Cricket Council's Hall of Fame. Speaking at the induction ceremony held in London on Sunday night, the 46-year-old former right-hand batsman said that it is a huge honour for him. Regarded as the greatest to have played the game, Little Master Tendulkar remains the top run-accumulator in both Tests and ODIs.
He was the part of the Indian team which won the 2011 Cricket World Cup, which was his sixth world cup appearance. In 2010, Tendulkar’s name was among the 100 “Most Influential People in the World” in Time Magazine. An Arjuna Awardee (1994), a Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Awardee (1997), Padma Shri recipient (1999) and Padma Vibhushan recipient (2008), Sachin Tendulkar played his last match on November 16, 2013.
The Little Master also expressed his happiness after being honoured by ICC. The batting maestro took to Twitter and wrote that he was happy and humbled to be inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame. He then thanked his family, friends & fans across the globe for their love & support who according to him have contributed towards helping him becoming what he is today. At the same time, the 46-year-old also congratulated Donald and Fitzpatrick.
