ICC reminds BCCI of 'tax exemptions' as Shashank Manohar's tenure comes to a close: Report
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has reportedly reminded the BCCI of delivering the tax exemptions for the 2021 T20 World Cup and 2023 World Cup.

In February, International Cricket Council (ICC) sent out a single-p letter to all cricket boards of ir associate members. According to a media report, letter stated that if respective central governments of se boards failed to provide guarantees like tax exemptions within deadline, y will t be able to host any ICC events between 2023 and 2031 cricketing calendar. letter was directly aimed towards Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) since India is currently scheduled to host 2021 T20 World Cup and 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup.

ICC threatens BCCI of losing T20 World Cup hosting rights
According to a report in Times of India, ICC has once again reminded BCCI of submitting a letter stating detailed guarantees of ir tax exemptions for 2021 T20 World Cup and 2023 50-overs World Cup. report furr states that BCCI is already a month behind in delivering said letter to apex body. However, as BCCI’s cricketing projects are currently struck with coronavirus pandemic just like rest of cricket boards, an official recently stated y have to wait until crisis eases out in country.
