ICC to Further Delay CT 25 Schedule Release After Failing to Convince PCB For 'Hybrid' Model: REPORT
The latest suggests that there will be a further delay in the announcement of Champions Trophy schedule.

Amid uncertainty surrounding Champions Trophy , latest suggests that re will be a furr delay in announcement of schedule. delay is caused as ICC has not yet been able to convince PCB to accept ‘hybrid’ model. Earlier reports suggested that much-awaited ICC Champions Trophy schedule would be released by end of week - but that does not seems to be case. PCB has stood firm on it's stand os not agreeing to ‘hybrid’ model and with India refusing to travel across border - tension seems to be rising.

Meanwhile, PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi dressed press recently where he requested Indian team to come to Pakistan . Naqvi assured BCCI that re will not be any problem with Indian cricket team.
‘Will ensure that Champions Trophy is held in Pakistan’
“We will ensure that Champions Trophy is held in Pakistan. We have written a letter to ICC, we are awaiting a response. We are just talking to ICC. I believe sports and politics should not be mixed toger. I am just hoping for a positive result,” said Naqvi while speaking to reporters.

“I think no one can give us a tough time. Every ICC member has its right, things cannot function like this. I am just hoping for a positive result when it comes to Champions Trophy,” he ded.
Naqvi also questioned credibility of ICC.

“ICC needs to think about ir credibility, Champions Trophy tour has been rescheduled. Every or team in world, that has qualified for Champions Trophy, is rey to come and has no issue. If India have any concern, n I suggest m to talk to us. I don't think re is any reason for m to not come here,” said Mohsin Naqvi.
