ICC Women's ODI rankings: India stay second behind Australia
In the latest Women's ODI rankings revealed by ICC, Australia continue to remain on top of the points table while India women maintain their second position.

According to the latest updates by ICC, the Australian women’s cricket team continue to top the ICC women's team rankings with 148 points. The Indian women's team also continue to maintain their second position on the table after they increased their lead over third-placed England. India are currently one point ahead of England in the 50-overs format. Australia, after their series-clinching victory over Sri Lanka Women at the Allan Border Field in Brisbane, stretched their lead further as they are clear 26 rating points ahead of second-placed India. Indian and English women teams share second and third positions with 122 and 121 rating points.

Australia have aggregated 4,594 points with 148 ratings from their 31 weighted matches. They have continued their dominance under Meg Lanning’s captaincy and will be looking to solidify their position with a 3-0 drubbing of the visiting Sri Lankan team. The third ODI between two teams is scheduled for October 9, 2019
The 2017 Women’s Cricket World Cup winners England are placed just a point below India, who were the runners-up of that tournament. New Zealand and South African women teams occupy the fourth and fifth spots with 113 and 98 points respectively. West Indies women are placed sixth on the points table while Pakistan are positioned seventh. Meanwhile, as Sri Lanka continue their struggle Down Under, they continue to struggle on the points table as well. With a meagre 56 points, they are placed eighth on the points table, i.e. just above ninth-placed Bangladesh and tenth-placed Ireland.
