Rohit Sharma's men will have to better ir chance with a 4-0 whitewash of Australia in ongoing Test series while y can also clinch a final berth with a 3-1 result in ir favour. With Sri Lanka also in fray, Indian team needs to ensure y win at least one Test in remaining two matches to smoon ir path to World Test Championship final to be held at Oval in June.

WTC points table

Even if Indian side mans two draws in rest of two Tests y will reach 60.65% while if Sri Lanka snatches a 2-0 result against New Zealand, y could leapfrog Virat Kohli and Co with  61.11 PCT. For Aussies, combination is pretty clear as y have to avoid a 4-0 thrashing at hands of Indian team. If y somehow pull off a draw n y could certainly book a berth in WTC final as Sri Lanka would t be able to reach that mark. But should y lose both ir Test matches on Indian soil and Sri Lankans get  better of Kiwis by a 2-0 margin, ir hopes will be dashed as Australians would lose ir spot to Asian side.

Given ir current form, India is current favourite to be one of contenders who will compete in WTC Final. Australia's chances of following India's path are comparatively high but Sri Lankan side will try to make amends as it could be an all-Asian final if y go through.
