Rohit Sharma's first words on social media after returning to T20Is
After being intimated to take over the T20 helm again, Rohit Sharma has made his first statement. Sharma posted a new picture of himself on social media and left a caption that seemingly highlights his New Year's resolution.
"In 2024 we mind our own rizzness", he wrote on the photo-sharing platform Instagram.
The caption matches the pic, as it showcases Rohit Sharma in the new stylish avatar. For the unaware, the word "rizz" was recently taken into the dictionary, and it means style, suave, charm, etc.
The way to T20s formed after ICC ODI World Cup 2023
Rohit Sharma has had a tremendous ICC ODI World Cup 2023. At the tournament he played fearless cricket from the outset and managed to give India a flourishing start in almost every match. He managed to amass 597 runs at a strike rate of 121. Thus, following a blazing run-flow, a return to the T20 format became probable, and indeed the Hitman has returned. Along with Sharma, Virat Kohli has also made a comeback to the T20 side. Considering it is a World Cup year, the return of these stalwarts could prove to be vital, and who knows maybe at this ICC T20 World Cup 2024, in the USA and West Indies, it would be Team India's "rizz" that would reverberate.
