Indian opener Shubman Gill helped himself to 91 runs from 146 balls and provided Men in Blue a great start to 5th day of IND vs AUS 4th Test after unfortunate early wicket of Rohit Sharma. However, as Indian team registered yet ar Test series win Down Under, ir fans took to social media platforms and commented on how result of Test series remained same despite Australia consisting of likes of both David Warner and Steve Smith.

Despite having Steve Smith fit and available for whole Test series, and David Warner available for majority of Test matches, Australia could t man to lift Border-Gavaskar trophy.  Indian team mand to restrict Australia's star players pretty well as David Warner ended his series against India without a 50-plus score. R. Ashwin kept Steve Smith quiet as he could t score more than a single hundred in 8 innings and often fell into web of Indian spinners.

Indian team on or hand saw ir captain and star batsman Virat Kohli go back to India after first Test as he attended  birth of his first child. y started off ir four-match Test series in worst possible fashion as visitors were all out for just 36 runs in fourth innings of first Test match and lost tournament opener.  visitors also h to play without many first-choice players following major injuries. Men in Blue went on to win second Test match and produced a strong performance to draw third game. With more injuries as matches progressed, India barely mand to feature a fit 11.

However, Indian team youngsters rose to occasion and took matter into ir own hands, helping India to a massive series win in Australia. Following Test series win, India w sit top of points table in ICC World Test Championship and are likely to cement a spot in ICC World Test Championship final.
