Rajkot weather could play killjoy in IND vs BAN due to Cyclone Maha
Ind vs Ban T20I: India face Bangladesh in the second T20I in Rajkot on Thursday. But according to IMD, weather conditions are likely to play a spoilsport.

India will take on Bangladesh in the second T20I at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot on Thursday but according to Rajkot Gujarat Weather Forecast, weather conditions are likely to play a spoilsport in this much-anticipated clash.

The forecast has suggested ‘heavy’ to ‘very heavy’ rainfall. According to the India Meteorological Department, Cyclone Maha which is currently located over the Arabian Sea is expected to cross the Gujarat coast around Diu on Thursday afternoon. The forecast department at Ahmedabad has placed an orange-level alert for Rajkot district ahead of the match.
But there is still a probability of a game happening as Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has suggested that the cyclone is likely to weaken.

As per the last update on Wednesday, the cyclone was over the Arabian Sea, about 390 km WSW of Porbandar, and it was expected to move around the Saurashtra coast at noon of November 7.

While checking the Rajkot pitch on Wednesday, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma had said that the pitch looked good and Rajkot was always a good batting track. He added that it will offer some assistance to bowlers as well and will remain a good pitch throughout. He assured that the Rajkot pitch would play better than the Delhi one.

If the match is abandoned or India lose, this will be the second consecutive series that India will not win at home. As per reports, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly will be present for the game.
