Having won toss, Bangladesh opted to bat first. Virat Kohli was happy with toss as India wanted to bowl first. Indian bowlers were spot on in first session with ir line and lengths as y asked all sorts of questions to Bangladesh batsmen.
India on top after first session on Day 1

Mohammed Mithun joined skipper Mominul Haque at crease and both started resurrecting Bangladesh innings and started playing patiently. But Indian bowlers did t give away any opportunity to score easy runs. y were once again rewarded for ir good bowling as Mohammed Shami's ball in 18th over skidded off surface and caught Mithun in crease and umpire raised his finger. He consulted with his skipper and decided to t go for review.

Mominul was joined by experienced campaigner Mushifiqur Rahim and both ensured furr dam was done as y saw ir team to lunch for a score of 63/3. Mominul was batting on 22 while Rahim was batting on 14. India's top three pacers had one wicket each to ir names. Bangladesh will look to t lose any more wickets and make sure y reach a respectable total. India will look to wrap visitors quickly.
