Indian batsmen create world record

Mayank had scored 215 against South Africa in first Test of three-match series which was his first double hundred in Test cricket. Kohli followed it up with an unbeaten 254 in second Test in Pune. Rohit Sharma was third batsmen to score a double ton when he hit 212 against Proteas in final Test.

Agarwal perished after scoring an impressive 243 off 330 ball reby scoring India’s fourth individual double tons in as many Tests. He was also involved in two hundred-plus stands, 90-run partnership with Rahane and a 123-run partnership with Ravindra Jadeja and added 91 runs for second wicket while batting with Pujara.

Agarwal was dropped when he was on 32 by Imrul Kayes on first day of first Test on Thursday and Karnataka man, made Bangladesh pay as he added 211 runs more before he eventually got out off Mehidy Hasan’s bowling.
