Mother Of All Coincidences: Rishabh Pant's Car Accident And Test Return Has A Bangladesh Connection

IND vs BAN 1st Test: India is all set to take on Bangladesh in a two match Test series at home starting from 19th September. India will kick off their Test cricket season against Bangladesh as they will play a total of 10 Test matches in a span of 5 months against Bangladesh, New Zealand and Australia. 

As Rohit Sharma and Co. prepare to face off against their neighbours, BCCI on Sunday announced India's squad for the first Test against Bangladesh . Rishabh Pant is all set to mark his return to Test cricket after his tragic accident back in December 2022 which almost took his life. As Pant, prepares for his red ball return there's a major coincidence which has a Bangladesh connection.

Rishabh Pant endured a terrible car accident on December 30th, 2022 and almost lost his life. Pant defeated death and after 527 days marked his return to International Cricket for India. Thanks to his excellent performances for India in the T20 World Cup followed by a strong Duleep Trophy outing, Rishabh Pant has earned his comeback into Test cricket squad for India. 

In a mother of all coincidences, Rishabh Pant 's last Test match for India was also against Bangladesh back in December 2022. And his return Test match for India is also going to be against Bangladesh.
