IND vs NZ: Here's how 4th-ranked India can overtake New Zealand to become No.1 ODI side

India are presently ranked 4th in the ICC Men's ODI team rankings with a rating of 110. New Zealand are ranked No. 1 in ODIs with a rating of 117.

India and New Zealand are all set to lock horns against each or in a three-match ODI series, starting January 18. first match is scheduled to take place in Hyderabad on Wednesday. second and third games will be played in Raipur and Indore on January 21 and 24. Both India and New Zealand are coming on back of wins against Sri Lanka and Pakistan, respectively. While India handed Sri Lanka a clean sweep in ir three-match contest, New Zealand defeated Pakistan 2-1 in ir ODI series earlier this month.  

How can India become . 1 ranked ODI team?

India are presently ranked 4th in ICC Men's ODI team rankings with a rating of 110. In order for India to move up three places in current ODI rankings, Men in Blue must win all three matches of ir upcoming series against New Zealand. If India can beat Kiwis 3-0 in ir ODI series, y can become new . 1 ranked side in format. New Zealand are currently . 1 ranked team in ODIs with a rating of 117. England are ranked second, followed by Australia with ratings of 113 and 112, respectively.
