Former New Zealand cricketer Simon Doull lauded the Indian duo of Sarfaraz Khan and Virat Kohli on the successful DRS of Will Young during the second Test in Pune on Thursday. Sarfaraz and Kohli had to convince Rohit Sharma to take the DRS, which he took. It was a successful DRS as Young was dismissed. As it turned out, Young had got a deflection on that and was given out. It was a big breakthrough for India as NZ were starting to stitch a partnership. Young perished for 18 after getting reasonably set in the middle. Simon Doull, on air, said, "Sarfaraz Khan and Virat Kohli were fully convinced it was out. Kudos to Sarfaraz for having such a great morning".

Meanwhile, given the hard circumstances shown by 1st Test in Bengaluru, India will try to undo New Zealand's pick. As the game runs from October 24 to 28, two cricketing titans are about to engage in battle. Leading players from both sides—Tom Latham for New Zealand and Rohit Sharma for India—will be under close examination for their performance in this pivotal game. The pitch conditions will be very important as they will determine the level of a captivating and fierce game possible.

"When you play a Test match like that, the first session didn't go our way. But we batted well in the second innings. We take a lot of positives from that and see how we can turn things around here. Always want to find ways to get back into the Test match when you're behind. That's what we did," Rohit said at the toss.
