IND vs PAK: “Ram Siya Ram” played at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium 

The India-Pakistan cricket match is a rare occurrence, and on Saturday, when these two countries faced off in the tense Asia Cup encounter, it brought together millions of fans to celebrate their passion for the game.

Team India took some serious early hits after winning the toss and deciding to bat. The crisis signal was sounding loud as Shaheen Afridi sent Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli back. Haris Rauf came on after Afridi and also took out Shreyas Iyer and Shubman Gill. With their score at 66/4, India badly needed a partnership. The middle batsmen were Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya.

 They got the scoreboard going slowly but steadily. They gradually pulled the team out of harm's way and were on track to establish a total that was respectable. Ishan Kishan added 82 runs on 81 balls in a 138-run partnership with Hardik Pandya. Pandya made 87 runs on 90 balls, and chaos soon followed. India's team was unable to bat for the whole 50 overs, but they still managed to score 266 runs in 48.5 overs. However, the persistent rain ultimately ended the match despite the patience of the Pakistani hitters.

'Ram Siya Ram,' a Hindu hymn that is also included in the popular Indian film 'Adipurush,' unexpectedly began playing at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Sri Lanka, surprising many spectators during this thrilling partnership between Pandya and Kishan.

Team India is set to face Nepal next 

Next up for the Rohit Sharma-led squad is a September 4, 2023 match against Nepal. Pakistan leads Group A of the Asia Cup 2023 with four points, followed by India and Nepal in that order.
