The Indian cricket team is currently playing a high-intensity match against arch-rivals Pakistan in the ongoing Asia Cup 2023 in Sri Lanka. The match is taking place at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, where heavy rainfall has continued to interupt the game. Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first. Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill provided a solid start as they scored a half-century each before being dismissed.
Virat Kohli and KL Rahul then assumed charge for India but rain started pouring heavily, causing the match to be halted. The match then headed to the reserve day where play hasn't started due to rain in Colombo.

IND vs PAK: Pakistan's target if rain halts play
India were batting at 147/2 in 24.1 overs when rain stopped the play in Colombo. The players returned to their respective dressing rooms, waiting for the rain to pause. The rain has stopped pouring the match has been delayed due to the wet outfield. The match will resume once the umpires are satisfied with the condition of the field.

India vs Pakistan: PAK's target if match is reduced to 20 overs
However, if the match doesn't start before 10:30 PM IST even on the reserve day, it will be called off. But if the IND vs PAK match is reduced to a 20-over chase for Pakistan then they will get a revised target of around 181 runs.
- 21 overs: Pakistan will need 187 runs
- 22 overs: Pakistan will need 194 runs
- 23 overs: Pakistan will need 200 runs
- 24 overs: Pakistan will need 206 runs
