Weather Predictions and Pitch Report
The weather in Pune was a concern for many before the match started as the city has been experiencing fluctuating showers since the last seven days. Although yesterday's play was not rain-affected, yet it did come to a premature end due to bad light. According to a leading weather forecast portal, Pune will see a couple of afternoon showers and a thunderstorm. It is estimated that Pune will receive at least two hours of rainfall, making rain interruption a huge probability at some point of the day. Indian opener Mayank Agarwal mentioned that the Pune pitch has some moisture in it. The pitch may further dampen if rain occurs.
