Ind vs SA Live: Mayank Agarwal leads India's dominance on Day 2

Indian batsmen continued to dominate as they declared at 502-7 in ongoing Test. SA were reduced to 39-3 at stumps, still trailing hosts by 463 runs.

On a rain-shortened Day 1, Indian team were comfortably poised at 202-0 in 59.1 overs. After a solid opening day performance by hosts, Indian batsmen successfully capitalised on good start provided by Rohit Sharma and Mayank Agarwal. two openers added ar 115 runs to ir overnight unbeaten partnership to form a mammoth 317-run opening stand. South Africa, currently playing ir first Test of ongoing ICC World Test Championship, have an uphill task ahead against World .1 Test side.

After a toiling day on field yesterday, South African bowlers continued to struggle against strong Indian batting line-up. visitors finally got ir first success at 317 in form of Rohit Sharma who scored 176. Mayank Agarwal, however, continued his ramp as he smashed visiting bowlers all over park on his way to his maiden Test century. In afteron session, Mayank Agarwal converted his maiden Test hundred into a double before he was finally dismissed for 215. Proteas mand to dismiss Pujara, Virat Kohli and Rahane cheaply but ir effort was t eugh as home side posted a huge first innings score. Virat Kohli declared innings at 502-7, leaving visitors to face 20 overs in final session of day.

South African batsmen failed to negotiate ir remaining overs as Proteas lost three wickets for just 39 runs. Ending day at 39-3, visitors trail home side by 463 runs going into Day 3.
