Ind vs SA Live: Sachin praises Mayank Agarwal and Rohit Sharma

Day two of first India vs South Africa Test match is underway at Visakhapatnam. After winning toss, skipper Virat Kohli chose to bat first. India since n have been very dominant against South Africa's bowling attack. biggest highlight of first innings was 317-run partnership between Mayank Agarwal and first-time Test opener, Rohit Sharma.

Ind vs SA: Sachin praises duo on Twitter

Sachin Tendulkar took to Twitter to express his joy after watching Mayank Agarwal's innings. He ackwledged how Agarwal has worked hard since he debuted for team India against Australia in December 2018. Agarwal scored his maiden Test hundred this morning and has w converted that into his maiden Test double hundred. Karnataka batsman lost his wicket at 215. Sachin, in his tweet, also appreciated partnership that Rohit Sharma and Mayank Agarwal shared. duo scored 317 runs toger, which is third-highest partnership between an Indian opening pair in Test cricket. It is 12th highest Test opening partnership of all time. Rohit Sharma, opening in Tests for first time, scored 176 which was just one run shy of his highest Test score of all-time.

Ind vs SA: Dominant India

Ever since start of play on day one,  Indian batting line-up has dominated South Africa. Mayank Agarwal and Rohit Sharma scripted a beautiful start to innings and by end of day, India had a solid hold on match. Rainfall shortened play on day one and play ended with Rohit on 115* and Mayank on 84*. This morning, batsmen took back to game with same momentum.

Rohit Sharma ended his innings when he got out at 176. Pujara and captain Virat Kohli could t make too much of ir wicket as both got out cheaply. Ajinkya Rahane lost his wicket at 15. India are at 448-5. Mayank Agarwal is star of show as only in his fifth Test match, he has gotten his maiden Test hundred and has converted it into a double hundred.
