Bus door shut in Ruturaj Gaikwad's face, internet exploded with various reactions

Ruturaj was heading towards the bus and was glued to his phone. As he was about to enter the bus the driver shut the door on his face leaving the Indian batsman confused. He even was seen indicating something towards Ruturaj but it was not clear what his intention was. The incident quickly grabbed eyeballs as netizens took this opportunity to share their reactions on social media.

Ruturaj Gaikwad failed to live up to the expectations

However, it didn't pan out the way Ruturaj would have hoped as he could only manage five runs in 10 balls against the Proteas. Fifties from debutant Sai Sudharshan and Shreyas Iyer helped India chase down a paltry 117 runs in the first ODI. They will now take on the hosts in the second ODI at St George's Oval on Tuesday. The visitors could seal the series with a dominant display in the next ODI clash.
