IND vs SL: Navdeep Saini thwarts Scott Styris' dig at India playing 4 RCB bowlers in T20I

Team India's bowling line-up handed team an easy victory in Indore T20I on Tuesday and helped hosts take a 1-0 lead over visitors Sri Lanka in 3-match T20I series.  Player of Match was Navdeep Saini, who also happens to play under Virat Kohli at Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in Indian Premier League (IPL). Saini took 2 wickets for 18 runs at a very effective ecomy of 4.50.

Scott Styris doubts Virat Kohli's selection strategy

Before match started, former Kiwi all-rounder Scott Styris took to Twitter and questioned why Indian team's line-up featured four RCB bowlers. RCB have had a very tough time at IPL since y made final in 2016. team consistently finishes at bottom of IPL table and has been one of earliest exits in past two seasons. One of biggest reasons behind RCB's IPL woes has been ir bowlers who have failed to contain opposition batsmen. Yesterday's India playing XI featured three RCB bowlers in playing XI - Shivam Dube, Washington Sundar and Navdeep Saini. RCB spinner Yuzvendra Chahal was also present in Team India squad although he did t play match.

Navdeep Saini responds in style

While it is very improbable that Navdeep Saini or any of ors got to kw about Scott Styris' tweet while y were on  ground, young bowlers proved Kiwi wrong and single-handedly helped India get a grip on game in  first innings itself. Navdeep Saini was leader of pack as he took two wickets with a very impressive ecomy of 4.50. Spinner Washington Sundar also got important wicket of opening batsman Avishka Fernando. Shivam Dube was t a part of match's action much as he was t used a bowler and team did t need to bat deep eugh for Dube to come out to bat. Indian fans were quick to point se facts out to Styris.
