PM Narendra Modi lauds Team India after one-sided win over Sri Lanka
After the Indian cricket team crushed Sri Lanka in the finals of the Asia Cup 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered his best wishes to the team and wrote on his official 'X' handle (formerly known as Twitter).

Team India's road to Asia Cup 2023 win
The Indian cricket team faced a lot of challenges throughout their campaign in the Asia Cup 2023. After the Indian team's top order was destroyed by the Pakistani pace attack, Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya rescued Team India and took them to a fighting total. However, the match was later abandoned due to rain. The Men in Blue faced Nepal in their second match of the 2023 Asia Cup and won the match by 10 wickets single-handedly.
From here the Indian team never looked back and defeated Pakistan by 228 runs in their first Super 4s clash. Virat Kohli and KL Rahul scored centuries in the match whereas wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav picked up a fifer. The Indian team crushed Sri Lanka by 41 runs in their next match, however, they also received a close loss against Bangladesh by 5 runs in their last Super 4s clash.
