Ind vs WI: BCCI to shift first T20I out of Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium?

The opening Ind vs WI T20I on December 6 at the Wankhede Stadium is reportedly in jeopardy as BCCI is considering a shift in venue citing security concerns.

BCCI looking to shift Ind-WI T20I out of Wankhede?

match is scheduled to be played on December 6, a date that also coincides with birth anniversary of Dr. BR Ambedkar. occasion usually gars huge crowds around iconic Shivaji Park ground in South Mumbai area of Dadar with many followers paying ir tributes. date also coincides with anniversary of Babri Masjid demolition and upcoming occasion will be first-ever since Supreme Court gave its verdict on matter a few weeks ago. According to a report in a leading Indian media daily, Mumbai Police have requested MCA to shift match to a different venue or to a different date. MCA, however, feels that BCCI will take ideal call for deciding in favour of match being hosted by Mumbai itself.

Meanwhile, Indian cricket team is currently facing Bangladesh in a two-match Test series. After winning first match in Indore, two teams will w face-off against each or in a historic Day-Night Test match in Kolkata. upcoming pink ball match will be played at Eden Gardens from vember 22 onwards and it will be first-ever Day-Night Test to be played in country.
