After missing out on the chance to showcase his debut blitz, Yashasvi Jaiswal fired on all cylinders in the 4th T20 match against the West Indies and took the game away from the hosts. Jaiswal scored a blistering knock of 84 off just 51 balls and put India in a parallel position with the Windies in the series. For his magnificent knock, the newfound revelation received the Man of the Match award.

India draw level with West Indies in the T20 series
After incurring two heavy blows in the T20 series against West Indies, India have pulled it back in style. While Tilak Varma has been the find of the series, Yashavi Jaiswal has also made it known that he is a dependable name for the future. Jaiswal has already registered a Test cenury in the tour.
Chasing a target of 179 in the 4th T20 against West Indies, the Rajasthan Royals starlet was sent up the order as an opener along with Shubman Gill. The left-hander scored freely from the outset and made the majority of runs in boundaries. Jaiswal hit 11 fours and 3 sixes in his innings of 84 runs. Though all his strikes were as clean as a whistle, one raised extra eyebrows.

Ahead of the match, India were trailing 1-2 in the series, but the explosive show from Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal brought the scores to a level. Shubman Gill, who had a forgetful tour before the 4th T20, scored 77 off 47 balls. With all the flak he was getting a knock like this was coming. With 2-2 being the scoreline now, the series will be decided in the 5th and final T20. The final will be played on Sunday, August 13, 2023.
