While speaking at an event in Australian High Commission, Jess Jonassen believes that India will be front-runners, and she expects m to put up a strong showcase. Aussie bowler believes that y are well acquainted with UAE conditions, but she also did t rule out Australia, saying that y could t be undervalued.  

"India are well and truly front-runner because of depth and versatility that y have. y have better kwledge of UAE conditions. We have never played re, but Australia kw how to play in big tournaments and can't be underestimated.

"We have played in different sub-continent pitches and conditions, but have little kwledge about UAE conditions, so it be challenging. We've been under ar illusion that pool that we are in is t one of toughest. But I don't think re's going to be a single easy game," Jonassen ded.

Jess Jonassen has been a part of Australia for multiple T20 World Cup campaigns, but she wasn't selected for 2024 edition of tournament. Aussies are defending champions after y won title last year, and y will be aiming to defend ir crown in Dubai, UAE. Australia Women's side will begin ir campaign against Sri Lanka Women at Sharjah Cricket Stium on October 5, 2024.
