But it happened, because young Rishabh Pant was coming out to bat. Pant is making a comeback to Test cricket after more than a year and that is why re was roar.

Meanwhile, India is on back foot early in first Test. Inside first hour, hosts have been reduced to 34 for three. side has lost three crucial wickets in Rohit Sharma , Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli . Mahmud Hasan has picked up all three wickets that have fallen. At time of filing copy, Rishabh Pant h just walked in and joined Yashasvi Jaiswal. India would be hoping that Pant and Jaiswal can get Indian innings back on track.
