India's stand-in skipper Rohit Sharma has broken quite a few records with his match-winning kck against Bangladesh on Thursday in second T20I at  Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot.

Sharma went absolute bonkers on inexperienced bowling attack of Bangladesh. Sharma and his opening partner, Shikhar Dhawan laid foundation of a comprehensive win over  Mahmudullah-led side in Rajkot T20I. While Rohit played aggressor's role, Dhawan acted as a perfect second-fiddle to stand-in captain of Men In Blue. hosts raced down to 100-run mark without losing a single wicket inside first 10 overs.

Most hundred-run partnerships in T20Is

100-run stand between Sharma & Dhawan was ir fourth in format which stands as record for most number of 100-run partnerships in T20Is, overtaking New Zealand openers Martin Guptil and Colin Munro, with three 100-run stands each in format.

Most number of 75+ scores in T20Is

Mumbai lad also achieved a unique feat of scoring most number of 75-plus kcks in format as he has mand to cross 75-run mark 10 times in his T20I career.

2,500 runs in T20Is

Sharma became first batsman to reach  2,500-run mark in shortest format. Virat Kohli (2450 runs) and New Zealand opener Martin Guptill (2359 runs) follow India opener in top run-getters list in T20I cricket.

Most number of sixes as Indian captain in T20Is

32-year-old bagged record of hitting most number of sixes (35) in T20Is as captain. His kck consisted of 6 maximums, making him overtake former captain MS Dhoni's tally of 34 sixes as Indian skipper.

Equalling Kohli's record of most 50+ scores

India's regular captain Kohli has registered 22 fifty-plus scores in T20Is. Sharma scored his 18th half-century in Rajkot and he also has four hundreds to his name. Thus, he equalled Kohli's record of most 50 plus scores in T20Is.
