Cricket Score - India vs Bangladesh 2nd Test Day 2 Highlights: Day 2 has been called off!

The Day 2 play of the India vs Bangladesh match in Kanpur has been called off. Rainfall has hampered the play, and both teams had returned to their hotels early in the day. Amid drizzlesm the umpirs came out to have a brief chat, and then the decision was revealed. 

While there were predictions of heavy rain in the afternoon, light showers have begun at the moment in Kanpur. 

The waiting game continues in Green Park as the situations still look bad.

Day 2's opening session of the India vs Bangladesh match in Kanpur has been washed out. When the super soppers were at work, the drizzle returned. It is almost time for lunch now.

The Super Soppers are in action, but the ground is still covered thoroughly. It isn't raining either. 

The covers are still in place at the Green park Stadium, but there seems to be no rain at the moment.

The drizzle in the morning Saturday turned into heavy rain and there is a possibility that play won't be possible until the final session of the day.

The two teams have already left the stadium and former India players Sunil Gavaskar and Dinesh Karthik , who are a part of on the commentary panel, were also seen leaving the venue.

The start of the Day 2 play has been delayed due to incessant rains. The pitch is under covers and is okay but the outfield looks like a concern. Super soppers are in action.

The Green Park is still covered and the players are not yet out of their dressing rooms.

Dinesh Karthik offers an update from Kanpur where he shows that it is cloudy with high piossibility of rain.

A Cloudy day with thunderstorms in part of the area has been predicted for the day with the precipitation probability of 55%. A cloud cover of 91% is also expected, and bad light could hamper play today.

India pacer Akash Deep was the star of the day after he scalped two wickets of BAN openers Zakir Hasan and Shadman Islam. Ashwin took out skipper Shanto, while Haque and Rahim were on strike.
