Cricket Score - India vs Bangladesh 2nd Test Day 3 Highlights: Play has been called off

Depsite no rain since morning, the play has been called off after briefing the team officials. They shake hands, which is pretty much a declaration. Day 3 has been called off due to wet outfield.

The match umpires have come out again to have a discussion and inspect on whether any play would take place. 

The umpires will come out for another round of inspection in 20 minutes. But there are chances that no play would happen.

It's still overcast at Green Park as the umpires interacted with the chief pitch curator. Officials are chatting among themselves.

Umpires have come out to take a look as ground inspection is in process.

It's almost lunch time, and no play has happened which marks the end of the first session. But no rain covers have come up. 10 minutes to go for the inspection.

Umpires and ground staff continue to engage in constant chat as groundsmen work on the pitch. 

The Ground Staff are deliberately working on the mid-off side in order to dry it up. 

The umpires check the pitch and further delay has been announced. The next inspection will take place at 12 PM IST

As per reports, Team India has arrived at the Green Park Stadium for the match. Expect play to happen today.

The ground staff has been working upon the outfield as they sand it up.  

The play has been delayed and the teams are yet to arrive. There is an inspection in place for 10 AM. If everything is right, the match will begin on 10:30 AM IST.

Most of the ground covers are off and only the pitch is covered with tarp. Super Soppers are working as the ground staff aims to ensure a ready to deliver pitch.

There is a 98% cloud cover and a 59% chance of precipitation. It is expected to be cloudy throughout the morning with a little bit of rain. 

No play took place as rainfall entirely took over the venue. There was a time when no rain was happening, but the outfield was a point of concern as the super soppers were in full swing. Day 3 is expected to have some action.

Day 3 of the India vs Bangladesh match will take place today at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur. Day 2 did not have any play take place as incessant rainfall hampered the entire play. Both teams returned to their hotels early and did not comeback and the day was called off early.
