India Vs England: GCA to invite PM Modi for test match at Gujarat's massive Motera Stadium
The grand Motera stadium will also host fans for the first time after the COVID-19 outbreak post which entry of the general public has been restricted

Ahe of Test series between India and England, Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) has also sought to invite Prime Minister Narendra Modi for third Test match scheduled to be played at newly-built Motera stium in Ahmedab. gigantic stium is set to host its first international Cricket match after completion of construction in February 2020, following which it hosted former US President Donald Trump and PM Modi at Namaste Trump event.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah who also hes Gujarat Cricket Association is more than likely to be present if Prime Minister visits. word of invite being received or on wher PM will indeed attend has been received yet.

Crowds allowed at Motera

BCCI has confirmed to PTI that 100% of stium will be open to general public during third and fourth Test between India and England. Meanwhile, Tamil Nu Cricket Association (TNCA) has confirmed that it will allow fans to enter Chepauk stium for second Test of series whereas first Test beginning from February 5 will be a closed affair.

Test series to begin from Feb 5
England has alrey arrived in India for what promises to be a gruelling tour of sub-continent and has also hit ground running in ir initial closed training sessions. All members of touring party tested negative for COVID-19 on Monday allowing visitors to resume full training in bubble from February 3 onwards. On or hand, Indian cricket team was seen practising at Chepauk on Monday after having arrived in Chennai on January 27. BCCI has also allowed families of players to be a part of bio-secure bubble.

With a spot in final of World Test Championship up for grabs, both teams will be locking horns with ir eyes set on prize. While England would be hoping to repeat heroics of 2012/13 season where y h registered a 2-1 win, India will be riding on momentum from recent historic victory against Australia on ir home turf. English selectors have brought stars Jofra Archer and Ben Stokes back into squ as y set ir eyes on World Test Championship. England has anunced 16-man strong squ with an ditional six members slated to travel as reserves. Team India have brought back Hardik Pandya and Ishant Sharma to boost ir pace and all-rounders' department as well.
