Jasprit Bumrah grabbed eyeballs with his unique bowling style, his sling-arm action and natural pace. peculiar release point of Bumrah's deliveries makes it hard for a batsman to judge his approach. 25-year-old has played 12 test matches in which he has taken 62 wickets with an aver of 19.24. Bumrah consistently bowls around 85 to 90 mph (140–145 km/hr) making him one of fastest bowlers in Indian team. Though he will t be seen delivering his yorkers against South Africa, 2019 has been a phemenal year for Bumrah.

2019: year of Jasprit Bumrah?

In April 2019, Jasprit Bumrah was named in India's squ for 2019 Cricket World Cup. A few days later, International Cricket Council (ICC) called Bumrah ‘one of most exciting talents making ir World Cup debut.’ On July, while playing against Sri-Lanka, Bumrah became second-fastest Indian to take 100 wickets in ODIs after Mohammed Shami. By taking eighteen wickets in nine matches, Bumrah became leing wicket-taker for India in tournament. In August 2019, Bumrah took a five-wicket haul against West Indies in first test match. In second Test match, he created history by becoming third Indian to take a Test hat-trick after Harbhajan Singh and Irfan Pathan. His performances were instrumental in leing India to a 2 - 0 win in series.

Recently, while talking about Bumrah and upcoming T20I against South Africa, veteran cricketer Ajit Agarkar h spoken about how experience h helped expedite Bumrah's progress. He also expressed confidence in Bumrah's ability to be a matchwinner in Indian conditions too. 

Though he may t play upcoming T20i, it’s clear that 2019 was Bumrah’s year, and he has full potential to be a key player for Men in Blue in future.
