Indian squad for ODI & T20I series against WI announced; Jadeja, Shami make comeback

Indian limited-overs squad for the upcoming home series against the WI has been announced on Thursday. Series begins on December 6 with the first T20I in Mumbai

Indian squ for upcoming home series against West Indies has been anunced on Thursday. MSK Pras-led selection committee met in Kolkata today to pick India's squ for ODI and T20I series. Virat Kohli makes a comeback into limited-overs side and will captain team after being rested for T20Is against Banglesh. Opener Shikhar Dhawan, who mand to score 91 runs from three T20Is against Banglesh, has retained his spot. While Sanju Samson who didn't get a single game in previous series against Banglesh has been dropped.

Ravindra Jeja makes a comeback in T20I side

Pressure will be on Rishabh Pant, who has t been in among runs, to perform once again as preparations for ICC T20 World Cup 2020 continue. Meanwhile, availability of MS Dhoni remains unkwn. Pant has scored only 56 runs in last four T20I innings he has played which includes matches against South Africa and Banglesh in home conditions. All-rounder Shivam Dube retains his spot while Shami, who has been sensational in red-ball cricket returns to T20I side after a gap of two years. Also making a comeback in T20I side is spin bowling all-rounder Ravindra Jeja who replaces Krunal Pandya. Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya and Navdeep Saini are t a part of team as y continue to recover from injuries.

Virat Kohli (C), Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, Manish Pandey, Shreyas Iyer, Kedar Jhav, Ravindra Jeja, Shivam Dube, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yav, Mohammed Shami, Deepak Chahar and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

India Squ for ODIs:

T20I series begins on December 6

India and West Indies are slated to play three ODIs and three T20Is. T20I series is scheduled to start on December 6 at Wankhede Stium, Mumbai. Men in Blue recently played three-match T20I series against Banglesh and mand to come out victorious 2-1 after losing first T20I in Delhi. Banglesh is currently playing two-match Test series against India. men in blue won  first Test by an innings and 130 runs. Both teams are in Kolkata to play day-night Test at Eden Gardens, and game is scheduled to start from Friday, 22 vember.
