Indian Women’s Cricket team are currently on a tour to West Indies to play three ODIs and five T20I matches. ODI series, starting on vember 1, will also form a part of ongoing 2017–20 ICC Women's Championship. opening game of series will be played at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua. But things aren't too comfortable for Indian team from a n-cricket angle.

Indian women cricket team were sent to West Indies without ir daily allowance. new office bearers at Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) immediately transferred pending allowances into accounts of cricketers.
When BCCI found out about impending allowances, board took charge at earliest and transferred amounts on October 30. While speaking with IANS, a leading BCCI official stated that financial process was started under Committee of Administrators (CoA) on September 18 itself. Saba Karim, who is GM Cricket Operations and women's cricket in-charge, was also informed about same through a mail of approval later that week but re was development made on matter until October 24.

While speaking with a media outlet, ar BCCI official questioned delay in development in spite of sending repeated emails to ex-cricketer Saba Karim. latest incident has raised a lot of questions as this is t first time when Karim delayed a process which was related to women’s cricket.
