Instability In Pakistan Cricket Continues! Aaqib Javed To Replace Jason Gillespie As Coach: Report
Aaqib Javed will replace the outgoing Jason Gillespie as the head coach of Pakistan. Javed will take over the helm as the coach across all formats.

According to staggering reports, Aaqib Javed will replace Jason Gillespie as he coach of Pakistan in limited overs formats. Javed was recently appointed as convenor of men's cricket selection committee by PCB. Gillespie is currently Pakistan team's Test coach and interim white-ball coach.

Former pacer Aaqib Javed set to take over as Pakistan white-ball teams' coach
Current national selector and former pacer Aaqib Javed is likely to be appointed as permanent he coach in white ball formats before Pakistan visit Zimbabwe for ODI and T20I series.
Pakistan will travel to Zimbabwe between November 24 and December 5 for three ODIs and as many T20Is.

A reliable source in Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said Javed who was initially reluctant to take on coaching assignment h now been convinced by chairman Mohsin Naqvi to handle responsibility.
“ Pakistan squ will fly to Harare straight from Australia after playing ir final T20I on Monday so new he coach will join m in Zimbabwe,” source said.
Javed, who is presently senior national selector, has vast coaching experience with Lahore Qalandars in Pakistan Super League (PSL) and recently was also bowling coach of Sri Lanka.
He was also bowling coach of Pakistan and he coach of under-19 side in past.

PCB initially wanted Australian Jason Gillespie, Test side’s coach, to take over as white ball he coach as well but he declined offer to spend time with his family.
Gillespie was asked to be interim coach for white ball series in Australia after South Africa’s Gary Kirsten resigned before tour to Australia.
Pakistan will fly to South Africa from Zimbabwe for a white ball series and two Tests before returning home in January.
