Ajinkya Rahane disappointed with Rajasthan Royals
When 2019 IPL began, Ajinkya Rahane continued to be skipper of Rajasthan Royals even though Steve Smith was back from his ban. Smith had successfully led Rising Pune Supergiant to IPL finals in 2017. While Royals struggled through most of 2019, biggest news from camp came mid-season when Rahane was relieved of his duties and Smith replaced him. Rahane referred to incident as 'disappointing' and added that it was t a single player's contribution that made team win or lose. He still insisted that he did t mind being held responsible for team's failures. Rahane still maintained his gratitude for opportunities that he got with Royals.
