IPL 2020: BCCI postpones conference call with franchises post nationwide lockdown
The BCCI and all of the IPL's key stakeholders will now be holding the conference call, a little later in the week. IPL 2020 may be played entirely in May.

fate of IPL 2020 will w be decided later in week as it is being reported that BCCI wants to furr evaluate status of coronavirus pandemic in India. Earlier, BCCI had IPL postponed to a date beyond April 15 after scrapping its original starting date of March 29. It is being reported that IPL can be held latest by first week of May.

IPL 2020: BCCI conference call over coronavirus with IPL stakeholders postponed
It was earlier reported that BCCI would be holding a conference call with all of IPL's key stakeholders on Tuesday to ponder over future of IPL 2020. It has w been reported by IANS that conference call has been postponed and will w be made later in week. BCCI will continue to evaluate situation in country and aim to is to make a unanimous decision that has all key stakeholders involved. Furher analysis of situation has to be done as government is w ordering lockdowns in country. Sunday's Janta Curfew was only an example of same.

IPL postponed: How far can BCCI take it?
Ar report that surfaced earlier had a BCCI official claiming that BCCI may be able to pull off IPL even if y need to follow government regulations till end of April. Citing how second IPL in South Africa was completed in only five weeks, official predicted that a similar treatment could be given to IPL 13 if logistical challenges to tournament were overcome. official furhter predicted that holding IPL in Maharashtra could be a viable option as state has four international grounds.

Three of m are in Mumbai - Wankhede Stadium, DY Patil Stadium, and Brabourne Stadium. fourth ground is Maharashtra Cricket Association's Stadium in Pune. It was also predicted that if first game of IPL is t played by first week of May, tournament may be entirely shelved for year. BCCI currently has IPL postponed to a date beyond April 15.
