Indian government currently suggests that any person travelling to India from abroad should undergo 14 days of self-quarantine in order to mitigate risks of coronavirus spreading any furr. It is w being reported that IPL franchises are ready to follow guidelines laid out by government if IPL goes through. bigger issue for franchises has been threat that looms over participation of foreign players in upcoming IPL season. Recently, Sunrisers Hyderabad captain David Warner's visa to India was rejected but reportedly t for coronavirus-related reasons. IPL postponed: Will BCCI be able to hold IPL 2020 or is IPL cancelled?

BCCI has already pushed back IPL by a minimum of 15 days but it remains to be seen wher that timespan will be eugh for coronavirus to loosen its grip on India. Cases seem to be rising by day and are at 142 already. With amount of public attention that IPL enjoys, BCCI will t want to risk furr spreading of virus which has caused global pandemonium. tournament may be shifted to a new date for this year alone if BCCI can man same. re is also a possibility that IPL 2020 could be cancelled if situation does t improve in coming weeks.
