Hyderabad vs Bangalore: Pitch Report

According to Accuweather, the temperature for the Hyderabad vs Bangalore weather forecast is expected to be around 35°C during the commencement of the match. The temperature will pretty much remain the same during the finishing stages (33°C at around 11:00 PM IST). Meanwhile, the humidity levels throughout the course of the match will hover around 48%.

The pitch at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium provides a lot of assistance to spinners. It also has something for the pacers as the new ball will move initially making life tough for batsmen. Change of pace will be key on this surface and spinners will look to bowl relatively slow. According to the last four T20Is played here, the average score is 138.

Does Hyderabad have an edge over Bangalore?

Bangalore always look a strong team on paper but they have never succeeded in clinching the silverware in the last 12 editions of the marquee tournament. Their batting line-up is one of the best in the tournament where the likes of Parthiv Patel, skipper Virat Kohli, and AB de Villiers can change the game in no time. The addition of Australian limited-overs skipper Aaron Finch will only boost the confidence of their otherwise strong batting line-up. They have a good bowling line-up as well and Dale Steyn will be hoping to make the new ball do the talking right away with his 'Steyn Gun'. However, it is the death overs where Virat Kohli and his boys end up losing the plot and by the time they realize it, their tournament comes to an abrupt end.

On the other hand, the 'Orange Army' have got their bases covered. The dynamic duo of skipper Warner and Jonny Bairstow were involved in four 100-run stands last season and that is what made things easy for Hyderabad. They will now be hoping Manish Pandey to fire in the middle-order and even the Afghan sensation Rashid Khan has the ability to make his bat do the talking in the middle and death overs. New Zealand sensation Kane Williamson can also be a handy batsman at number three if he gets a game.

Coming to their bowling department, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Sandeep Sharma, and Siddharth Kaul have the ability to pick up quick wickets upfront and derail the momentum of their opponents in no time.  However, what really stands out here is that Hyderabad has the ability to defend low totals and they have done it time and again and that is the reason why they have succeeded in making it to the playoffs in the previous four editions of the mega event including two finals.
