IPL 2020: The upcoming IPL has been pushed to April 15, 2020 due to the outbreak of coronavirus. The decision was taken on Friday afternoon by the BCCI.

In a massive statement released by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday, March 13, launch date of upcoming season of Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) has been pushed to April 15. much-anticipated T20 event was initially scheduled to commence on March 29 with a match between last year’s finalists Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings at Wankhede Stadium. BCCI’s decision comes on backdrop of ongoing country-wide panic created by highly-contagious Coronavirus.

In tweet, franchise admired BCCI’s decision and stated that health and safety of every player and fan is of ‘utmost importance’ to m. y also ackwledged new IPL postponed date 2020 by expressing ir excitement of getting into action in April.

Rajasthan Royals squad for IPL 2020
During recently concluded IPL 2020 trading window, Rajasthan Royals retained 11 of ir cricketers including Australian talisman Steve Smith.
