IPL 2020: Rajasthan Royals unveil their official jersey for the tournament, see pics

Rajasthan Royals will be hoping to go all way and win ir second IPL trophy in upcoming edition of Indian Premier League that gets underway on September 19. However, just days before tournament Rajasthan franchise has decided to unveil ir new jersey after three-time finalists Royal Challengers Bangalore and title-holders Mumbai Indians unveiled ir new kits ahe of marquee event.

'Official matchday jersey': Rajasthan Royals

Taking to micro-blogging site, Royals h posted a video that h some twists and turns. video starts with a parachuter bringing a parcel in a backpack as youngster Riyan Parag reveals 2008 champions will be unveiling ir official jersey. All Rajasthan players are seen enjoying mselves on beach and that is when parachuter's presence grabs ir attention. parachuter n supposedly does some kind of acrobatics that leave players puzzled and when he finally lands on ground, Parag opens backpack and takes three RR jerseys. He keeps one with him and hands or two to new recruits Robin Uthappa and David Miller.

Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2020

Coming back to IPL 2020, Royals will kickstart ir campaign when y lock horns against three-time winners Chennai Super Kings at Sharjah Cricket Stium, Sharjah on September 22. RR will be led by Steve Smith. However, it has been reported that ace all-rounder Ben Stokes might miss first part of tournament due to personal issues.

Meanwhile,  Royals would be hoping for a revival in ir fortunes after having unveiled ir official jersey as y have t succeeded in replicating same performance post inaugural edition in 2008 where Australian spin legend Shane Warne h led m to ir first and only triumph in cash-rich event.
