English all-rounder Ben Stokes, who was recently retained by the Rajasthan Royals for IPL 2020, has released a memoir that talks about England's World Cup win and the following summer where they played an electrifying Ashes series. In the book, Stokes has also talked about how along with other Australians, David Warner kept sledging Stokes as he went on to make history and rescued the Englishmen from an impossible situation at Headingley. Stokes' IPL team, Rajasthan Royals hyped up the book and also taunted the Sunrisers Hyderabad to buy a copy as well. David Warner is an integral part of the Sunrisers, having led them to an IPL victory in 2016. And that is how the tweet war began.

The Sunrisers were quick to hit back and tweeted this in reply...
Sneakily taunting the Royals about Warner's impeccable IPL record, the Sunrisers asked them to gift the book to the Aussie when he has another breathtaking season of the IPL. The Royals were quick to reply.

Rajasthan's reply teased the Sunrisers on how David Warner's IPL may not go as planned if Stuart Broad ends up playing it. Broad was a nightmare to Warner in this year's Ashes series, dismissing him seven times in the ten innings that he played. Warner was only able to score 95 runs in the entire Ashes series. The Sunrisers were quick to hit back and teased the Royals about the return of Stuart Broad's ultimate nemesis - the man who hit him for six sixes in an over.

The Royals were quick to fact-check the Sunrisers and let them know that the latter's former player, Yuvraj Singh has officially retired from international and IPL cricket in an indirect, witty way. The banter ended sportingly with the Sunrisers wishing to continue the same level of exchanges on the field as well.
