IPL 2020: Title-holders Mumbai thrilled to see skipper Rohit Sharma back in the nets
Defending champions Mumbai were thrilled to see their skipper Rohit Sharma back in the nets. Rohit ended up missing the last two matches due to an injury.

It seems that defending champions Mumbai are extremely happy after ir skipper Rohit Sharma was seen sweating it out in nets. Rohit h sustained an injury during a Dream11 IPL 2020 league match as a result of which he was sidelined for last couple of games against arch-rivals Chennai and Rajasthan respectively. Caribbean power-hitter Kieron Pollard was stand-in captain in both games.

Taking to micro-blogging site, title-holders posted two ims of Sharma's net session. In one of ims, Mumbai captain can be seen carrying a couple of bats to centre while in second im, he can be seen attempting to hit ball out of park. reigning champions went on to caption im as 'Just what we love to see! Hitman in action at today’s training'.

Rohit Sharma excluded from upcoming Australia series
Meanwhile, 'Hitman' has been ruled out of upcoming bilateral series against Australia due to a hamstring injury. India will be playing three T20Is, same number of ODIs, and, four Test matches Down Under.
Ahe of two-month-long tour of Australia, BCCI on Monday anunced Team India squs for limited-overs and Test series. Punjab skipper KL Rahul has been named Vice-captain of side for limited-overs series. Meanwhile, Test specialist Ajinkya Rahane will be Kohli's deputy in longest format.

Mumbai in Dream11 IPL 2020
Coming back to IPL, Mumbai were comprehensively beaten by a resurgent Rajasthan on Sunday night.

Stokes (107*) and Samson (54*) n anchored Rajasthan's run chase with an unbeaten 152-run stand for third wicket as inaugural edition's champions got past finish line by 8 wickets and 10 balls to spare.
