IPL 2025 Auction: KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, Iyer Set THIS Amount as Base Price, Check BIG Surprises

IPL auction: As BCCI released list of over 1574 players who will go under hammer, base prices of players were also revealed. For example, big guns like KL Rahul , Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer have put mselves in Rs 2 Cr-base price bracket. Senior cricketers like Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravichandran Ashwin - who were released by ir franchises - have also put mselves in same bracket. For unaware, minimum price a cricketer could set mselves is Rs 20 lakh, while maximum remains at Rs 2 crore. In terms of surprise, Ben Stokes t available for auction is a surprise as he has been an integral part of Rajasthan Royals in past.

Among 1574 players, 320 are capped players, 1,224 are uncapped players, and 30 players are from associate nations. 

IPL 2025 Auctions Dates Anunced

mega auction ahead of Indian Premier League 2025 will be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on vember 24 and 25, BCCI anunced on Tuesday.

This is second successive year auction is being held overseas as Dubai hosted previous one ahead of IPL 2024.

player registration officially closed on Monday and a total of 1,574 cricketers (1,165 Indian and 409 overseas) have been signed up for auction, which will clash with third and fourth day’s play of first Test between India and Australia in Perth, which begins on vember 22.
