The Future Of The 'Impact Player' Rule
The staunch criticism of the 'Impact Player' rule majorly revolved around the development of all-rounders in the game. When the rule was introduced, it was seen as an additional opportunity for an Indian player but now, it has come to their notice that it might hinder the development of a player who has all-round skills. If the BCCI decides to scrap this rule out, it might be in effect from the next edition of the Syed Mushtaq Ali domestic T20 competition.
