The IPL Auction 2020 saw a lot of cash being splurged but some players were surprisingly left out of the action. Have a look at some of those big names.

Indian Premier League (IPL) Auction 2020 saw a lot of lucrative deals being struck with players like Pat Cummins, Chris Lynn and Glenn Maxwell found homes - new and old. However, as seen so often at auction, re were a few veterans who surprisingly did t get picked at auction. Here are top unsold players in IPL Auction 2020.

IPL Auction 2020: takers for se champions

1. Yusuf Pathan

One of IPL's original pioneers, Yusuf Pathan's fall from grace has been tough to witness for many of his supporters. Pathan got released by SRH ahead of auction and his future was highly speculated upon. He did t find any takers in auction and it is possible that we have seen last of him in IPL.

2. Shaun Marsh

One of IPL's most prolific run-scorers, Marsh has t found a taker in IPL for three seasons w. Marsh has a sublime IPL record while he played for Kings XI Punjab - winning Orange Cap in 2008 and being second-highest run-getter in 2011.

3. Alzarri Joseph

Joseph made history last year when he took best-ever figures in an IPL match with figures of 6/12. Alzarri, who was a injury substitute, ironically got injured himself and missed rest of season. He did t find any takers in IPL Auction 2020.

4. Mustafizur Rahman

emerging player of 2016 season, Mustafizur was very important to Sunrisers Hyderabad during his time re. After that, he moved on to Mumbai Indians before being t allowed to participate in IPL by Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). BCB finally allowed Mustafizur to enlist himself in 2020 auction but injury-prone bowler did t find any takers.

5. Tim Soue

One of New Zealand's top bowlers surprisingly did t find any taker at all in 2020 season. Soue has been with Royal Challengers Bangalore, Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings.
